After breakfast at the hotel, check out and set off for Lake Naivasha, Kenya's freshwater jewel perched in the Rift Valley at an astonishing 1,884m above sea level. Surrounded by grassy banks and acacia woodlands, the lake is a haven for perch, African crucian carp, hippos, and many waterfowl. You can take a 90-minute speedboat cruise to explore the scenic Crescent Island and get as close as 5m to the various wildlife, such as pigeons, flamingoes, crows, fish eagles and even hippos.
